The exact Tungsten U2027ACV2PUSS configuration has an 812cc fuel-injected triple, electronic power steering, a locking rear differential, roof, quarter doors and a 4,500 lb winch at $18,299 U.S. MSRP. Its published limits are 1,000 lb in the dump bed, 2,000 lb towing and 2,000 lb total capacity. The attraction is how much work equipment is already included; the buying question is whether its 63-inch width and open cab suit your property and weather.

A three-seat work machine, not a shortened crew compromise
The single bench seats three with three-point belts, and Arctic Cat says the passenger seats can be removed to create more in-cab storage. That flexibility makes sense for a grounds crew alternating between people and gear. It does not create a fourth riding position or increase the rated load. The bed measures 40.5 by 54 by 11.5 inches and tips for unloading. A 2-inch receiver is standard.
Arctic Cat quotes 2,000 lb total capacity alongside the 1,000 lb bed and 2,000 lb tow ratings. These are overlapping limits, not three independent allowances. Three occupants, tools, accessories, cargo and trailer tongue load all need to be accounted for under the applicable manual and vehicle-label limits. In particular, do not plan on a full bed and a maximum trailer at the same time without checking the load arithmetic. The winch’s 4,500 lb pull rating is also not a towing rating.
At 124.25 inches long on an 85-inch wheelbase, the XT is about 33.75 inches shorter than the 2027 Prowler 800 Crew XT. Both are 63 inches wide, so the three-seat XT helps with garage depth, trailer length and some turning situations, not with a 60- or 50-inch trail-width restriction. Measure access gates and the actual trailer before choosing it. Its 12.5 inches of ground clearance and full-length skid plate offer useful margin on rutted property tracks, but the machine remains a full-size utility side-by-side.
The triple, traction choices and the missing horsepower number
The 812cc liquid-cooled EFI three-cylinder drives a TrailBloc CVT with high, low, neutral, reverse and park. If acceleration with a loaded bed matters, a demonstration on a representative grade will answer more than an inherited horsepower number.

Electronic power steering is standard, a meaningful feature when maneuvering a loaded utility machine at low speed. None of these features changes the need to slow down with passengers, cargo or a trailer aboard.
The manufacturer’s 1,718 lb dry weight includes 52 lb of accessories. “Dry” is the crucial word: it is not a wet, ready-to-ride number. A comparison against another UTV’s curb weight would misstate the weight difference. The 9.3-gallon tank likewise says nothing by itself about real-world range, which will move with terrain, load and pace.
Equipment, price and the alternatives worth pricing
The XT’s standard-equipment list includes a roof, quarter doors, premium front bumper, rear-view mirror and 4,500 lb synthetic-rope winch. Arctic Cat’s 2027 announcement identifies the 800-series winch as a WARN Axon unit. The sport gauge, halogen headlights with LED accents and LED tail lamps cover basic instrumentation and lighting; this is not a factory-enclosed, heated cab. The removable access panels should make routine service easier, although actual service intervals belong in the current manual.
Arctic Cat displays $1,250 freight and a $500 dealer setup fee separately from the $18,299 MSRP. Those displayed numbers total $20,049 before tax, title, registration and any other applicable charges. The dealer determines the final selling price, so ask for a written out-the-door quote that identifies the exact model number. The base warranty is 12 months. A separate Fall Adventures offer advertises a 24-month limited factory warranty for qualifying new 2027 Prowler purchases from August 1 through September 30, 2026; it is a time-limited promotion, not the permanent base term.
The 2027 Prowler 800 Limited starts at $22,799 MSRP, $4,500 above the XT. Its fully enclosed cab, full doors, glass windshield with wiper and washer, rear glass, heat and G8 display target colder, wetter work. If those are essential, price the factory Limited before adding accessories to an XT. The Crew XT is $22,299 MSRP, $4,000 more than this three-seat XT, and provides six designated seats at the cost of a much longer chassis. The choice is really about weather protection or people capacity, not a claim that the base XT cannot work.
The 2025 Prowler Pro in this catalog is an older three-seat member of the same utility lineage, not another name for the 2027 XT. It shares the 812cc-triple idea, but its historical dimensions, equipment, price and weight should not be copied onto a new-vehicle quote. Arctic Cat’s current model number and spec page are the safer reference.
For buyers who routinely move a small crew and a moderate load over private property, the 800 XT has an unusually complete standard package: EPS, selectable rear lock, roof and winch alongside a substantial bed.
